https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=206367 Summary: Can not save downloaded files with Firefox Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 4 Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: suse@netio.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Gnome install (no extra packages during initial install, added other gnome packages after install) from DVD created with makeSUSEdvd (5 ISOs + non-oss). Compaq sr1520nx (sempron 3100+, 1 gig RAM). When downloading a file, Firefox opens the appropriate dialog box, selecting save to disk then opens the dialog to select the directory. Clicking Save does nothing. Changing the directory has no effect, still does nothing. Problem happened when attempting to go from this page to the linked page: http://wwwcf.fhwa.dot.gov/exit.cfm?link=http://www.az511.com/RoadwayConditio... The linked page requires flash, and flash was not yet installed. I followed the Get Flash link. It prompted to save or open the flash player download. I selected open (with gunzip) and nothing happened. I then tried again, clicking Save to Disk and selecting the Desktop, and clicking Save. Nothing happened. Tried again with home directory, and then the directory it defaulted to (no directory change). In all cases, nothing happened, no files saved. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
