[Problem exists with the packages as of September 8th, but I remember having
problems printing with KDE for quite some releases.]

When trying to print from all KDE applications, KDE fails to get a connection
to the print system / CUPS server. The error message says (sorry, in German): 
"Liste der Drucker lässt sich nicht übertragen. Fehlermeldung des
Verwaltungsprogramms: Verbindung zu CUPS-Server fehlgeschlagen. Überprüfen
Sie, ob der CUPS-Server korrekt installiert wurde und aktiv ist. Fehler:
Rechner ist nicht auffindbar."

Any other program connecting directly to CUPS (Acroread, OpenOffice) has no
such problems. The printer is also displayed correctly (and working) in YaST. 
"http://localhost:631"; also works.

I remember reading somewhere on the net about incompatibilies between KDE and
recent CUPS versions.
