Summary: hardware problem on staging server
Product: openSUSE 10.2
Version: Alpha 4
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: Critical
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Other
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: rschiele@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
There seems to be some hardware problem (defective memory?) on the staging
server or somewhere before.
Some mirrors (all?) contain corrupt RPMs in the factory repository that are
also included in the Alpha4 ISOs where they are not corrupt. The difference is
only some single bit flips.
Defective RPMs I discovered so far are:
inst-source/suse/i586/kernel-default-2.6.18_rc5_git6-2.i586.rpm
inst-source/suse/noarch/rfc-2006.9.4-1.noarch.rpm
inst-source/suse/noarch/wesnoth-data-full-1.1.9-2.noarch.rpm
But I guess there are more.
