Hi,
What I did last week:
+ caught up with mails and other things after vacation
+ finally replied to an interview, which resulted in
http://www.muktware.com/n/16/2011/835/exclusive-interview-vincent-untz-opensuse
+ went to HP event in Grenoble: http://hp.inviteo.fr/HPC_OSL_TES2011/
- wrote a talk about build service & studio, which was well-received
(thanks to AJ for his build service screencast)
- had various interesting discussion with HP people
- enjoyed good food
+ had several discussions, mails and phone calls about the current
GNOME/Canonical situation
+ openSUSE-GNOME team meeting
+ helped people submit maintenance updates for GNOME-related packages
+ openSUSE is participating in Summer of Code! So completed our
organization profile, and started answering questions about it from
students/mentors
What I'll do this week:
+ create a time machine to have more time
+ fix some GNOME 3 blockers upstream in one day. Will only happen with
the time machine.
+ review all remaining GNOME 3 packages, and push them both to
GNOME:Factory and GNOME:STABLE:3.0. Will need the time machine as
those packages will change this week (for GNOME 2.91.92) and so it's
hard to both deal with the update and the push at the same time.
+ prepare trip to India for GNOME 3.0 release hackfest / GNOME.Asia
conference. I'm leaving next Saturday. I'll be able to give the time
machine to someone else since I probably can't import it in India.
Vincent
