xsltproc --novalid --param with "'script1.xml'" --param replace "'false'" \ --param dontmerge "'script'" --output script.out \ /usr/share/autoinstall/xslt/merge.xslt script2.xml then the script is not merged but you are right, the CDATA is gone.
