Hi,

I published an article in my blog about kiwi images and AutoYaST.
To make you curious, here are some numbers I have measured for the  
time to install a system:

kde4 system with RPMs only - 19 minutes
kde4 system with pre defined images -13 minutes
kde4 system with a kiwi image - 3,5 minutes (!)

The feature is experimental but available in openSUSE 11.1/SLES11
It's not documented and not fully supported yet but nice to play with.
