your partitioning XML looks good and should work


Even when I manually install it, then "Clone the system" to produce
a /root/autoinst.xml file. I used the file produced via autoyast, without
modifying it, and it still had the same results.

This is sooo odd ...

Apparently grub is being corrupted .. Does that make sense??? :(
