the only way to change the partitioning on 10.2 is to set <confirm ...> to true. That will stop the installation at the proposal screen and you can change what you want there (not only the partitioning).
You can use rules too but then you still have to predefine a partition section that is used then (see documentation for the use of rules).
Another option might be the <ask> directive but I think in your case that's not an option with 10.2 because you need to change too much in the profile.
On 10.3 you might be able to use <ask> and replace the complite profile with one ask-question (see the examples section on my SUSE homepage) - but that's a 10.3 option only since you need to execute a script with an <ask> then and fetch a different profile depending on the answer.
