I found this command (roughly speaking) in an old thread in this group:
create_package_descr -d x86_64 -x
/srv/ftp/ftp10-2/ftp10-2/CD1/suse/setup/descr/EXTRA_PROV
That got my kernel into setup/descr/packages, so now I'm trying
anotherinstall.
Sorry to ask a question that'd already been answered... I really did
google for a while about the problem before asking though. :)
