[opensuse-autoinstall] software and script merging

hello list,
i tried to merge some profiles together (with rules) but experienced
some problems. Basically i have two goals at the moment: 1.) to merge
software selections (a default one and some additional ones) 2.) to
merge scripts together (like i have one init script in one profile and
another in a additional profile).
How can i archive that? ... i already tried different dont_merge
statements in the rules.xml file.
yh and im using sles10 sp1.
