Well, no, I'm using SuSE Linux 10.2 for the moment.

It would appear that the fixes went into SuSE Linux 10.2 as well(?).
I installed a fresh SL10.2, managed to setup the LDAP server using
the YaST interface, then generate the autoinst.xml with YaST2 ->
Autoinstall, and voila', I have an XML snippet for the LDAP server
section.

I'm testing it as we speak and I'll post the results here shortly.
