In openSUSE 10.2 you can use "Package Directory" type of the installation
source. The setup is much simpler, you don't need genIS_PLAINcache etc., only a
directory with RPMs.

But it's intended for a local directory only. If you want to use it over NFS you
have to mount the source manually (or via /etc/fstab).
