No I did not find that in documentation, unless my thoughts would be considered as such (hopefully not, of course). Actually, I based my note on a conclusion that with a network protocol I've always seen two slashes to be used. If you do not have the server part, then three slahes (eg. autoyast=floppy:///path/autoinst.xml).
