Hello,

Either you're lucky and the driver is already included in the installation sources or you're unlucky and you need to update or create a driverupdate file. When installed a version of SuSE with SP, there will be a driverupdate file in your repository which you can adjust, by adding the contents of the driverupdate disk (provided by the manufacterer of the raid controller). When installing a GA release of SuSE, i think you can just copy disk image you download from the internet and rename it to driverupdate.

A link to a document that explains how to update the driverupdate:

Rgds,

Johan

Subject: [suse-autoinstall] autoinstall onto a raid controller

I'm trying to do an autoinstallation onto clients systems with raid controllers. the os will be installed onto the raid controller on the clietns using a sles9 server with autoyast. How do I install the raid controller driver onto the client systems before the autoinstallation process?
