Hello everyone.

I am trying to create a custom boot cd that will be used to build many
servers. Our network admins do not allow DHCP in our datacenters, so I need
to use a static IP address.

I would like to be able to do the following:

1. Use a network installation source
2. Use a control file on a network installation source
3. Use a static IP to connect to the installation source
4. Allow the person using the custom boot cd to change the name of the
control file at run time.

Can I use a combination of the showopts boot options and a control file to
do this? Or are they mutually exclusive of each other?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
David Bellis
