You are correct. Even with non-autoyast installation the problem is there.

No, the entire command that I give at the PXE "boot:" prompt is:
boot: *SLES9 autoyast=nfs://abc/home/static.xml*

Do I have to include all the characters which are there with the "append"
statement of "SLES9" label in the PXE "default" file?
