No, the entire command that I give at the PXE "boot:" prompt is: boot: *SLES9 autoyast=nfs://abc/home/static.xml* ** Do I have to include all the characters which are there with the "append" statement of "SLES9" label in the PXE "default" file?
yes, all of that stuff gets cat'd together on the line.. and there will also be something added like: BOOT_IMAGE=linux (or whatever the kernel name is).. and it all adds up pretty fast. for a quick test.. just echo the whole line after append, and your added bits above and pipe to wc.. if it's anywhere near, or especially over 200.. then that's probably it. I'd recommend moving at least install to the info file. -- Mike Marion-Unix SysAdmin/Staff Engineer-http://www.qualcomm.com [Talking about web page "design"] "I think my standards have lowered enough that now I think ``good design'' is when the page doesn't irritate the living fuck out of me." ==>jwz (http://www.jwz.org/gruntle/design.html)
