Hi, it seems that the passwords are not encrypted in your .xml file. You have to encrypt them if you use <encrypted config:type="boolean">true</encrypted>. I am not sure, if you can set it to false. But I am sure it is written somewhere in the docs or the bug-reports. Bye Felix -- Original Nachricht --
My first try to install a SuSE Linux test system via AutoYast2 was near successfully. After installing automatically the system boot up correct and pop up the login screen, but a login fails (Login incorrect) with both accounts (see autoinst.xml). I have used the standard SuSE 8.0 CD Roms and the autoinst.xml file was saved on a floppy. I am shure that I have entered the passwords correct and CapsLock was not active -: )
Here a part of the autinst.xml created with AutoYast2 :
... <users config:type="list" > <user> <encrypted config:type="boolean" >true</encrypted>
root123 <username>root</username> </user> <user> <encrypted config:type="boolean" >true</encrypted>sms123 <username>sms</username> </user> </users> ...Thanks! Guido Frohn
