extended partitions

Hi all, I'm trying to configure a drive with 7 partitions, but when I start
the autoinstall, fdisk fails apparantly because it tries to make all
partitions primary. The only info I could find on this
(http://www.suse.de/~nashif/autoinstall/bugs.html#AEN60) says to upgrade to
the latest version of the module, which I've done. However, I still don't
see a way to mark a partition as extended. Has anyone had any success
configuring a drive with more than 4 partitions without using LVM?

Thanks,
Robert
