Hey guys, I've taken up the adwaita, greening it up and such, and seems i forgot to edit the dark theme (thanks, Guido!). Anyway, here's the version with the dark theme also modified: https://ssl.eumx.net/owncloud/public.php?service=files&t=d38e20036e66209c29… Now, i'd like us to stop for a minute just to brainstorm a little further: 1) You've seen the icon theme i used (moka icons - the owner made an opensuse repository also, you can get them on www.mokaproject.com - do try them out. The artist made them especially for gnome). I found the shade of green i used to play nicely with them. Now, my question here is - would it be possible (and how) to use them by default in the next release? I think it would be easier then modifying the gnome theme... or not? 2) The shell theme is pretty neutral, so i'd leave it default. 3) Any other input? Please, do check it out. We could create a really pleasant environment with very little effort for the next release. P.S.: Guido, thanks for pointing out the letters vs green shade issue. Do you propose a specific hex color for the green color, according to the guidelines? Hi all, I wanted to share some wallpapers that we made. We did them just for "fun" and hope you like them. Some are made in Photoshop and some in Inkscape. In any case we export any size needed if anyone is interested. These are just some of ideas we had, some based on the current colors that we used for print materials and some totally different. I came across this email, thread and I would like to add my 2cents. I think you need to make sure you are leveraging the historical heritage of OpenSUSE correctly, while keeping in mind that future maintainability of the project is the main goal here. If I was to make a proposal (which I'm not. this is just a suggestion) I would go in a direction already existing in suse community and do something like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uoe15yu9dxnid5s/sampleIconSUSE.png a) it's simple as it only involves straight shapes b) it's original as it features circular design which (eve though suse used it for ages, is not so common on other desktops) c) easy to maintain as anyone can make an icon in this style (provided a template and a simple set of how-tos to follow) Keep in mid - this is just a suggestion, nothing more. [opensuse-artwork] Installer theme

Hi all, I have begun work on a new installer theme. It is based on the code we are using in SLES 12. I tried to make a light coloured theme which fits well with some of the new colours. [opensuse-artwork] Wallpaper proposals for 13.2

Hi list mates!! This time I share a pair of wallpapers made by a spanish user. He's a member of spanish openSUSE forum, and there he shared a pair of really good wallpapers (IMHO) I asked him to share here in the ML. But he didn't know how to do it, so I write here in his name and put him in CC. He made a first wallpaper for 13.1, but I asked him to change the text for the 13.2 and later he made another one. Hey guys, I've tried modding the greybird theme for Xfce. I'd appreciate it if someone would try it out (try it with Faenza-Mint icons) and see how it looks on your Xfce machine. It would actually be a very small to uniforming the look (approximately) across DE's.
