Since the conference is now over, I would like to ask for some help in doing cleanup on our git repository. Since the conference the size of our repo has grown quite a bit, however, I am sure that there are many files used for the conference that are no longer needed. I think it would be good to just keep sources and key artwork. But there are also many trial artwork pieces that are not needed and are taking room.
I will be taking a look in the coming days into GIT, but I would not like to delete something that I am not sure what purpose it serves.
I think the whole structure screams for a cleanup. It's _very_ hard to find artwork. I would appreciate it if we could have a go at it _after_ we have discussed what to remove and what to move where, here, together.

So far I only removed png's and pdf's made out of the svg source files for oSC 13. However, I know there is a lot there that is probably too old, and serves no purpose anymore. I would suggest removing artwork that is past 3 years old. Anything documenting old events, old marketing strategies and old social media artwork. Additionally we can do another restructuring of the repo. I tried achieving some organization last time I worked on git and created the folder "Marketing Materials." Although, since there are many people working and submitting to git, we all bring in a new naming scheme and new numeric scheme to the files we submit resulting in disorganization. Maybe another area of focus would me to homogenize file names. Let me know what you think. -- Andy (anditosan) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
