I think it's important to have a clear idea about what needs to be done. That is especially important not only for the release of the distro, but also for the hackaton we have next month: to make sure we don't forget things and to make sure we don't spend time discussing instead of working there.
On the distro side, Richard has posted a good start of a list. From the promo side, I'd be happy to help make a list of some things (but that would need help from other promo people and all of you - I don't know all the stuff we need).

Oh, and I know the format is bad - I'm not too good with tables, help is welcome... :D
I tried to add some things on the promo side there as well as what Richard posted, corrections and additions are welcome as I didn't add the status to the things discussed here recently.
If this is the wrong approach - please, just change or remove the wiki page. It's mostly that I made this page after seeing mails with "todo" as title and because I think it would be extremely helpful for the hackaton :D
Might be a good idea to use a meeting or two to work on these lists...
