What do you think about left alignment with root prompt as a first
character in the line:

Also, I would not put $$$ or money, as that should not be a primary
motive for participation, but nice side effect. 

[1] it is play on shell expansion that will use all listed words
as parameters.
[2] it is Geeko, not Gecko (gecko is a lizard, and geeko is play with
words geek and gecko)
