Dear OpenSUSE Artwork team, My name is Eugene Trounev [it-s], I live in Toronto - Canada, and I have been working as an independent graphic artist in and around open source community for a number of years. This December OpenSUSE development team has asked me to join the project as an artwork consultant, and help OpenSUSE's excellent artwork team to insure that OpenSUSE will always be just as excellent visually as it is performance-wise. My credentials include much work on KDE UI and look as a part of KDE Oxygen team. Web design for independent parties, as well as for the open source community as a part of KDE www team. Mobile application UI development for such platforms as Android and Meego (Harmattan). Desktop application UI prototyping. Wallpaper design and digital illustration. Icons and logos (though icons I'm not that good at). As I mentioned earlier I have been asked to join back in December and it is mid January now. However January happens to be a very busy month here in Canada :) Another important point to remember is that I'm here to help, and consult and NOT to take over and command. I would like to cooperate with each and everyone on the team in the most civil and coordinated manner possible. However until I am fully integrated and know my ways around I will have lots of questions, and I WILL make lots of mistakes at first just because I do not know. So bear with me. Now the first thing on my agenda is to get to know every one of you, and understand how things work around here. So if anyone would kindly volunteer to guide me through, it would be much appreciated.
