Hello all!

I found out that Ubuntu has nice way to promote their new release -
small banner which informs how many days are left before new version is
out. See http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/countdown for details. This
banner also links to information page about distribution features and
_mainly_ to beta releases which can attract more testers. I think it
would be nice if openSUSE had something similar. I would created it by
myself but unfortunately I don't have time right now.

Here's my mockup based off of the proposed 11.0 theme

Great Idea!
Kevin: I like you first proposal. The only thing is, that I don't know is, if we can use the Geeko this way, but I check it out if there are any problems.

Any wishes/Ideas about the sizes? Ubuntus 217/170px are a good size, but IMHO a microbanner would be cool to! And maybe we could let the JS pull after the releas a normal "Get openSUSE" banner, and reactivate it when the next release-countdoun starts? What do you think?

Cheers,
Robert
