Hi Martin,
Just making sure I'm understanding your question - are you requesting
another set of bootsplash themes that would work well on 8 bit displays
to avoid color banding of our usually textured theme?
To be honest I'd rather drop all the required resolutions than add yet
another set of themes. Personally I'd like to avoid it. I'm fine in
creating a more simplistic boot sequence instead, but a large community
usually doesn't appreciate good clean design and prefers bling :/ And
for opensuse we're largely dealing with home user enthusiasts, the exact
kind of people who appreciate glossy finish, wild saturated colors
etc...
Does the current theme look really bad on 8bit? I need to try.
