We have been using your raspberry pi 3 image for a couple of weeks as a test device instead of some more expensive aarch64 hardware that we will use in production.
Long story short, there are some missing packages in your repos (I think rsync is one that springs to mind). Any idea when these packages will become available, anything I can do to help?
I guess it is a matter of the specific packages having aarch64 added as a target repo. I don't want to clone packages for this. Seems a waste. So I would imagine that it is just to send a message to the package maintainer requesting this.
I could add subversion to the list.
Please check your repo URLs. Both, rsync and subversion are available. Leap 42.2 base repo: http://download.opensuse.org/ports/aarch64/distribution/leap/42.2/repo/oss/s... * rsync-3.1.0-6.3.aarch64.rpm * subversion-1.9.4-1.1.aarch64.rpm Both packages are part of the core distribution and should be always available for installation. However, I just noticed that the subversion package should be at release number 1.9.5-3.2. I can see the srcpackage with that number in the update repo but not the aarch64 package. I will check what is going on here.
p.s. thanks for being the first to create an easily installable 64 bit distro for the raspberry pi 3!
Totally agree! Really works great.
+1 ;)
Ciao,
Alex~
