Just tried the image for the Raspberry Pi 3 openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-raspberrypi3_aarch64.aarch64-2016.09.27- Build6.1.raw.xz and I have a working system.
The only problem I had was, when I had a USB storage device connected, the system did not continue in the boot process, or I was too inpatient. I disconnected that device and started the boot process again and now I have a working system.
I had some trouble to configure my system, which I want to have an external USB disk. After the initial boot I connected that device executed the yast partitioner and added the device in /etc/fstab. However a reboot did not work anymore, not even with the USB disk disconnected. In that case GRUB did not complete the boot process. So I started all over again. I made small steps and now I have a system that only boots with a disconnected USB disk, but it has an entry in /etc/fstab for that device, so when I connect the USB disk after the boot, the system mounts the device and I have the system I want. The remaining problem so far, is that it does not survive a power failure. -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
