SUSE Linux 10.1 Alpha3 is ready, since our mirrors are still syncing,
I've only uploaded the torrent files to ftp.opensuse.org.  Everything
else will go online at 11am UTC on friday.

New significant changes in 10.1 Alpha3 since 10.1 Alpha2:

Known issues:
* The distribution identifies itself as "10.0.42 Alpha3" - and has in
  quite a lot places the 10.0 branding.  This is a known feature;-)

* Due to the upgrade of the mono core to 1.1.10 some mono packages did
  not build and since they require the previous mono version, they
  cannot be installed.  The affected packages are banshee and f-spot.

* Internet test will not work since downloading to patches is not
  setup.

* wpa_supplicant does not work with madwifi based cards, like Atheros
  chips.  NetworkManager also seems unable to access such cards.  For

* powersave dies directly, get updated packages as documented on the
  "Most Annoying Bugs" page.


Note: Alpha3 will be followed by Alpha4 in four weeks, Alpha3 is not
supported and we advice to not use it on production systems.
