Thanks for the info. Here if only one user is logged in (kdm), then
switching between consoles and the GUI is no problem.
Looks like the only solution is going back to nVidia :)
I'll wait for another opinions of course, and maybe I'll go trough the
hassle to file a report at ATI, even if they have made this process so
hard and unfriendly.
