Hi Detlef
I used quite a few credit Card user though under windows and 32 bit
arechitechture. I think you do not need any special kind of driver for these
stuffs. All the card reader I use is connec to the computer in key boards
PS2 port. The connecting wire also have a female PS2 port so your key board
hooks up with it.
Now when ever you swip a card it is like typing some thing in key board.
Just opening a text editor the tranck data get printed when I swip a card.
We have some USB card reader also but never used them hope to bring one home
and try with my USB port and 64 bit SuSe.
TIA
Anirban Biswas.

Has anybody a working online bankig software with access to hbci cards on 64-Bit system ?
Hello detlef! YES, I have three working Systems with SuSE 9.3 x86_64 and reinersct-cardreader working.
moneyplex as a 32-bit program needs 32-bit userspace-ctapi. I installed (via YAST) the 32-bit ctapi-cyberjack and pointed moneyplex to /usr/lib/readers/libctapi-cyberjack.so
Second, you need to be member of group uucp or tty (I don't remember...) to access the reader.
That should help you,
gregor
