Hi folks--
Is it possible to use 10.0 RC1 to upgrade 9.3
Professional? In other words, will upgrading preserve
all the non-free stuff like Java and True Type fonts,
Real Player, etc? Or is it better to just do a fresh
install of RC1?
This relates to my earlier question this week about a
dual-core X2 4800. The new CPU/Mobo is slated to
arrive today, so I'll be reinstalling my OS; I've
finally got all my data backed up.
I'd hate to do a reinstall of everything from the
ground up, only to have to do it again on October 6th
when 10.0 ships. Maybe if I put RC1 on the new machine
and not update anything until the 6th? Or just
reinstall 9.3 and wait til the 6th?
Thanks....
