Hi 

    does any one able to run SuSe on MSI RS480 Mother Board. I tried
to Install SuSe 9.2 on it but failed.

     At first my SATA hard disk does not get detected. So I installed
a 40 GB PATA hard disk and tried to install SuSe 9.2 64 bit version.
SuSe was taking too much time to partition the hard disk and the
cpoying of RPM were also slow. Even some pckages were not get copied
at all. And in the last whole installation frezzes due to a kernel
panic. Also I got lots of APIC error on CPU:40 (40)

  If any body able to run SuSe 9.2 or more current version on the
above mentioned mother board please help me to setup my new machine.
