From what it looked like to me, that is what I was running. I mounted the DVD
and the first one didn't have OpenOffice in the x64 directory. It did have it
in the i586 directory, which leads me to believe that SuSE is loading the 32
bit version on the system instead of a compiled version of it.
I got a response back this morning that there was an issue with the
ghostscript driver.
So until then, I am going to have my guy use the OpenOffice program straight
from OpenOffice.org. I just wish he could have used the kde-extension within
the program.
It is really tough breaking our employees over from MS Windows, when
OpenOffice doesn't work properly. But our employees have been fond of the
"Format Painter" feature that was missing in OOo 1.0. that is now in the OOo
2.0 BETA
