Hi,
I did all that but it does not work reliable. If I execute scanimage -L direct after reboot I get scanning to work. But then I can not print. After a reboot I can print but not scan. Doing a ptal-init setup again recognizes the printer but scanimage -L does not work, it seems to hang!? (it does not finisch and I have to stop it with ctrl-c)
Any further suggestions?
Hi - not a real solution, but a workaround: Try to switch off the printer after scanning or printing and it can be used in the other mode. This is not really nice, but it worked for me. I didn't further look into it, maybe the new driver as suggested in a previous email in this thread works...
