Try clearing your PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH from Intel & PGI compiler-specific entries, and then rebuild.

AMD64 9.2 with the default compiler. The program
links if I use gcc-3.4.3. But the default compiler and
intel-cce compiler do not. Both link without
