Anybody out there with NVIDIA? If I don't succeed, I sell the ATI and will buy a NVIDIA card, which works with an analog and an dvi tft in cinerama mode... but which? Thanks so far!

I have a dual head 5500 in my AMD64 box I also have a geforce 6800, but unfortunately that needs a 5002 powersupply and haven't upgraded it yet. I've also have/had a 5500 a 5200 and a 5700 (though the 5200 is single head) all running suse 9.X x86_64 and no problems whatsoever (provided you get the 6629 driver).

I bought a 5700 - and it works like a charm! two screens, 3D and DRI on both screens, also simultaneously, does that work under windows? 4 (twinview or similar) modes for two screens - and all of them working! Plus optional tv-out! OpenGL Support - also from mplayer - wow. I haven't counted the framerate yet, but what i see from foobillard at 2400x1024 - wow. And that for only about 80 Euro. NVIDIA, this is true linux support. and the parameters for XF86Config - and 57 pages readme/manual - wow. Only thing that's missing is: GUI for beginners - people want it.

I also have a dual xeon/64bit box with a quadro 3000 card .. man, that box smokes ... the only card faster then that is the 6800 ...
