(M430, EM64T). My Problem is, that the S-ATA Harddrives are not
detected during installation. I've tried to load some S-ATA-Modules
if i remember correctly, that box has the newest intel 925x chipset. is that already supported by the 2.6.8 kernel?
does it detect the sata ports at all? what about some other 2.6 distros, or the suse live media? didnt check the kernel mailing list on 925x support yet, maybe u should also be asking there.
