Adding mail client to stock SuSE 9.1 mozilla

Hello I've tried to google this but I've gotten too many wrong hits so I resort to the list. SuSE 9.1 AMD64 comes with mozilla. However the mozilla version lacks its mail client. I downloaded the latest Linux binary from mozilla.org but it is only for 32 bit Linux. It works for the most part even though there are messages of missing libraries (Look and Feel issues). Furthermore the fonts are horrible (on the downloaded version). Is it possible to just add the mail bit to the stunted SuSE 9.1 mozilla browser? TIA& Cheers
