Does anyone know where in /dev a usb flash drive would be if you already had a SCSI drive on sda2 as below?
toth:/ # df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/sda2 33G 20G 14G 60% / tmpfs 500M 0 500M 0% /dev/shm /root/SuSe.9.2.DVD.iso 7.5G 7.5G 0 100% /mnt/iso toth:/ #
I used to be able to mount /dev/sdb1 under SuSe 9.1 but now that gives me an error
toth:/ # mount -t vfat /dev/sdb1 /mnt/flash mount: special device /dev/sdb1 does not exist toth:/ #
Any help would be appreciated and Happy Thanksgiving!
Dave, My shortcut has always been to go to /dev/scsi/ and start looking around. The device is usually there somewhere... -- Michael White "To protect people from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools." -Herbert Spencer, 1891
