Hi,

i just read at a german linux user forum about the
same or a very similiar problem.
they don't have LVM running and they're using the
32bit SuSE 9.1 and getting the same reiserfs
translaction log error when they have 2 harddisks
or more in their system.
i personally don't have any problems with the
new kernel (1 hdd) so i don't know exactly what
happens ...

here is the link to this discussion
(as i said it's german but at least A.Jäger or A.Kleen
can read it ;-)
http://www.linuxforen.de/forums/showthread.php?t=140825&page=1&pp=15

i hope this helps in any way to find a solution for
your problem

best regards,
Franz
