Eugene, you are welcome to exploit all the wealth of your experience -
I don't doubt that _YOU_ know what you are doing.

The main objective I aimed at with my "Please, don't" , was:

	[cite]  ... don't  lure others ... _without_ any _warning_  [/cite]

... they might not have your knowledge and experience 
resp. overlook a perhaps tiny, but important difference en detail.
To me, the originally asking mail didn't sound like 25 years of experience 
with HW - so with this intuitive feeling, your proposal initiated taking my 
breath.

IMHO, such a warning of adverse effects is part of (scientific) responsibility 
and fairness. Then, they themselves may decide what to rely upon ...
