Hey Ambassadors
Italy is getting even more active those days ;-), so please all give
a warm welcome to our new ambassador from India, Marina Latini from
Milan and Perugia
from Manipal.
Below you can learn more about her and her relationship with openSUSE
as she told us in her own words.

We have a couple of questions for you:
* What have you done already for openSUSE?

I'm a member of FSUGitalia and with Alexjan Carraturo, we promote
openSUSE during our events, expecially where schools are involved.

* What are your plans for promoting openSUSE? Please tell us what you
want to do the next 6 months.

In the next 6 months... well, we have a lot of events! the first is
the LinuxDay on 22th October in Milan.
The next ones will be the Document Freedom Day in March and the
Software Freedom Day in September.
our goals are the schools and the young students. we want to share
the philosophy and the importance of using free and open source
software so students are important!

* Are you ready to start promoting openSUSE?

sure!

* What do you think is the best kept secret of openSUSE?

I believe that openSUSE has nice community. All is clear. if you want
to partecipate you can read a wiki and find all the informations. the
operating system is stable, full of applications and well organized.

* Why do you love to do this?

I want to officially promote this distribution also because openSUSE
is a great product and in Italy we usually find only Ubuntu or Debian
or Fedora. the Italian Ambassadors are doing a great job and I want
to help them.

* How did you start with Linux/openSUSE? What is your level of
experience?

I started using openSUSE thanks to another Ambassador, Alexjan.
during a software freedom day he organized a meeting of the Italian
Ambassador and for me was a pleasure to speak also with Andrea
Florio. A great event with a lot of young students!
now I'm a good user and I'm trying to discover openSUSE's secrets. I
think now I'm ready to talk about openSUSE.

Welcome!!!!
