I think this is an excellent idea!

Not only does it ensure the ambassadors have the skills they need to
help new openSUSE users, reducing the number of new users who have to
either switch distros or OSs to get things working, but it is also a
great advertisement for the certification.

Also, it's great for the ambassadors to have, I'm sure most of them
would go for it given the option.
