I believe firmly openSUSE will keep going ;)
which influences it would be have we can only speculate this time. Sure is SUSE will be a stand alone company after the deal and Attachmate knows that openSUSE exists http://www.attachmate.com/Press/PressReleases/nov-22-2010-SUSE.htm from the supporting side its better for us, SUSE is a traditional FLOSS company and they know that the openSUSE project is important for the company. Novell self had this to learn because, they didnt know how floss working as they bought SUSE. But support means two things, I can support u always with warm words and stay behind u. But shirts, geekos, DVD and other stuff have to paid for. That money have to come in the future from the standalone company SUSE and for this they have to earn it. In smaller things it can be better for us on bigger things like openSUSE Conference it can be not so good. For this we can only speculate, but one thing is sure openSUSE stay alive. br gnokii -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-ambassadors+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-ambassadors+help@opensuse.org
