Dear all, Manu +1 & *I feel there must be a common protocol instead of having Regional Teams. *"Currently Active" Ambassadors will act as a "Support Coordinators" for the new users. * There can be also some protocol like the new users/ contributors should select /get introduced to the Regional Teams via "Currently Active" Ambassadors. *when the new users get well acquainted with more information by the guidance of Active Ambassadors they can be now apply for Ambassadorship.now, the Active Ambassadors will recommend them for Ambassadorship of the new user with the Ambassadors Welcoming Team. so the work flow will be: New User -->Register through Portal -->Select an Active Ambassador (anyone) from portal -->Get information, training, support, from him --> Contribute to community --> now ask for recommendation from the selected active Ambassador --> now,Active Ambassador will forward his application to the Ambassador Welcoming Team ->> Mission Complete. What do you say ??? Best Regards, Ravindra M On Fri, Nov 19, 2010 at 11:51 PM, Manu Gupta <manugupt1@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi Guys
I just had a talk with Jos and S Kemter and they have provided some suggestions which we should take into consideration as they are worth noting in my opinion
- Ambassador Lead Team should be changed to Ambassador Welcome Team
- This team should have a max of 2 members. Aj can decide who they are among the volunteers who asked to be in the team
- We should not focus our strength on just this part however lucrative it sounds there are other issues too 3.1 We should find better ways to get events publicised, do some research and stuff like that 3.2 There are a lot of jobs in our Marketing Portal which can be carried out some of which include becoming liasons, which falls under ambassadorship imo
Opinions Guys
Regards Manu
