wow nice,
I agree and I believe will be nice to have a small group to help us to organize Ambassador program and speed up our progression. as we can see including me we already have 6 people deep interested in help with Ambassadors program, then I believe we are near to have a kind of a board for the ambassador program.
Also, this is the perfect time to make thinks happen at the ambassador program, time to make a difference when compared against any other similar ambassador program.
Our ambassadors needs to be more prepared, more mature, more align with the entirely project, we need to be more connected with each other. And as everything has a beginning and our ambassadors life is not different we need to start with a more productive and efficient welcome message, I mean, we can start to write a kind of Ambassador Welcome Kit and this could be included into the Ambassador Kit.
What could be included on that Welcome Kit? To get this answer we need to remember what we missed when we became ambassador. Some suggestions are:
- Ambassador Meeting ( we need to create a agenda for that)
- Ambassadors Welcome landing page sent together with the Ambassadors confirmation
- Templates for events reports
- introduction videos or presentations to teach how to handle a booth,
- g is responsible for art-work, how to contact them and get customized t-shirts for events.
- step-by-step on how to make and send a video called "Hi I'm a openSUSE Ambassador!"
- Ambassadors Q&A
- Questionnaire templates to be used during events
- step-by-step for how to prepare good guided demos for edu-li-f-e, obs, studio, 11.3
- Ambassadors quarter report (4 per year)
- Ambassadors virtual appliance built for streaming our presentations. every ambassadors will get the chance to easily stream any presentation or even recorded just downloading this machine and use it as live image or something like that.
- Ambassadors Photo Gallery
- Ambassadors Rock Band (If we have this one that, I would like to be the drummer :))
- Ambassadors could be allowed to give certificates for opensuse enthusiasts that always appear at openSUSE booth to help us with anything during events.

So far, I have write-protected the openSUSE ambassador list in the openSUSE wiki and ask all ambassadors to write me first - and then send them the questioniare and introduce them here as new ambassadors.
Therefore I'm basically the first contact and greeter for them ;)
I'd like to pass this job on to somebody else - or a small team - since it takes me far too long to handle these requests.
If you're interested, please speak up!
Andreas
Andreas,
I could definitely give this a shot since editing the wiki and a few other things have taken a backseat to some other issues.
Let me know what needs to be done and what the requirements/needed information are etc and I'll let you know if its something I can lend a hand with.
