we recently had a discussion at the Marketing mailinglist about
communication via skype for a better communication between the

I find it astonishing that Skype was even suggested. Perhaps I'll make
my point this way:
# zypper search skype
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
No packages found.
What's its the problem with IRC?
If we are going to organize something, why not go to the usual channel
and speak?
Just a question, because, I don't see why to reinvent the wheel about this.
Cheers.
++ for IRC.
Its already a well used medium and works perfectly for 'large'
discussions, plus logging it is easy since most IRC clients support
logging functionality.

Hi all,
I think it is perfectly fine to hold meetings on IRC. There is one
thing that kind of gets me thinking is the day for the meeting. As for
me , it is absolutely impossible to attend the meetings because I
cannot access IRC at my current job :/ Maybe a second day could be
saturday? how many of you are in the same position? Just a thought.
Bests
Well, keep in mind the meetings are logged to a web site for review at a
later time. I find myself reading over them to go over points I may
have missed etc.
