[zypp-devel] Qt widget for showing solver results.
Hi,
as I have promised in our last meeting I would like to provide more
information about
the solver QT widget.
This modal QDialog widget shows a solver result in a grafical tree in
which the user
can navigate and can get the information "who has installed whom and why".
A screenshot how it looks like can be found here:
~schubi/Export/solvertree/solver.jpg
I have made a package and checked in into autobuild:
libqdialogsolver1
libqdialogsolver1-devel
The interface is quite simple:
#ifndef QZYPPSOLVERDIALOG_H
#define QZYPPSOLVERDIALOG_H
#include

Would it be possible to post something like this on the Wiki so that the 'public' can also access it? I'd be curious. Thank you! Hi Schubi, I would prefer some tweaks to the layout to make it clearer, distinguishing installed and non-installed packages, ... but overall the widget looks promising. It looks like it could be used for this feature: "show the dependency reasons in "Show automatic changes" window" http://keeper.suse.de:8080/webfate/match/id?value=301515 (sorry for another non-public link...) -- Martin Vidner, YaST developer http://en.opensuse.org/User:Mvidner Kuracke oddeleni v restauraci je jako fekalni oddeleni v bazenu -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: zypp-devel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: zypp-devel+help@opensuse.org

Yes, that is a very good point.
