Well, the bindings are using the applayer. And its my intention to use the bindings to push 'how to use sat-solver' upstream.

Then please fix the code! The obsoletesmap[] usages are just wrong. (And I think the applayer should have a copy of create_decisions_obsoletesmap(). This function was always internal to the solver and just used for printing the solver solution as debug output. Somebody removed the "static" modifier.)
